3 Quick Ways to Incorporate Spring Runway Trends into Your Wardrobe

A few days ago I was browsing vogue.com in pursuit of the trends for this Spring's runway season. I thought to myself "what good are all of these wonderful designs if in order to truly experience them you have to go broke?". So I took my three favorite runway trends for 2016 and found a simple (and inexpensive) way to incorporate each into any look.

Check out my ideas. Indulge yourself with no strings attached. You deserve it.

Pretty and Polished

This spring, models on the biggest runways in fashion lit up the room. This wasn't the result of their glowing personalities, but rather from their glittering ensembles. Many designers including Sonia Rykiel (design featured at left), Marc Jacobs and Lanvin have featured stunning glittering designs. My take on this high fashion trend? It's all in the polish. My favorite sparkling nail polish is Butter London's shade Lushington (which is only $8). Butter London is renowned for it's creamy and rich

formula (plus it's 3-free, so you don't have to worry about any harmful chemicals). Just swipe on a few coats of polish. Maybe you just don't have the 20 minutes polish takes to dry (I completely understand). To add a quick dash of sparkle to your look, just swipe on some sparkling eyeshadow and you'll be ready to dazzle in no time.

Shades of Spring

I would be lying if I said that my favorite pattern isn't floral. So consider me very excited floral is one of the most fashion forward trends this season. Florals have been sprouting up all over the runway (pun intended) including the runways of B&G (left), Oscar de la Renta and Tory Burch. For an easy and cute take on this trend a flower crown is always in style (plus you can look like a hippie princess). If flower headbands just aren't for you, go with some flower adorned shades. They are simple, cute and most of all functional for the sunny weather approaching. Plus this pair was only $5 at Claire's. How can you go wrong?

Wild Locks

This spring season, the go to hair trend is to simply embrace your natural locks. On this year's runways models sported everything from sleek to wild tresses. Eugene Soleiman, a hair stylist for for Stella McCartney, (left) described it as a "celebration of the individual." Listen, I'm not too handy with a curling iron, so embracing my natural hair sounds amazing to me. How to embrace your hair's fullest potential? A quick spray of dry shampoo is great for getting away with second-day hair. Dry shampoo makes hair smell like a tropical island (or a field of flowers). Looking for more texture? Try a sea salt spray to add some personality to your 'do'. Plus, these products are all under $10. Yes.

Next time you are reading your favorite blog, or get the chance to see a runway show, don't abandon hope of ever being "the fashion forward one" because you don't have $400 to spend on a dress. Because runway trends can be wearable and affordable). You just have to be bit creative.

XO, Bella
